How It All Started

We might have ended up in Santa Maria, but this is not where we started.

It all started on the other side of the mountain, in Sóller. My husband and I decided we wanted to tackle a project together, we poured our hearts into carefully renovating this magnificent house, dedicating years to preserve it’s charm and character. This is where our deep love for Mallorcan homes took root, and where we learned invaluable lessons that have guided us through every project since. SALVIA remains a testament to the beginnings of our journey and the enduring commitment we bring to every home we touch.

This project marked the birth of Freer Living and consolidated our love for homemaking and design. It was the cornerstone that allowed us to continue our Path in the world of architecture, houses, and renovation, setting the stage for the many projects that would follow.
