Our process is phased and collaborative, in the same spirit landscape design has followed for centuries.

As the poet Alexander Pope urged nearly three hundred years ago, the starting point is always to consult "the genius of the place in all": understanding what a site already offers before deciding what to add to it.

We take on every part of a project ourselves- layout, hardscape, lighting, and planting-as one continuous design, keeping you closely involved from the first conversation through the final planting.

In Mallorca, outdoor living isn't a seasonal indulgence — it's the rhythm of daily life. We design terraces and gathering spaces that flow naturally from your home, blurring the line between interior and exterior.

The barbecue is designed as its own built structure, not an accessory — stone, render, or reclaimed materials that echo the main house, with counter space, storage, and height decided around how you actually cook and gather.

Around it, the terrace is shaped for real use: shaded dining, a lounge for evening light, materials like old roof tiles and hand-thrown zellige carried through from indoors, and lighting planned for the hours after sunset. Everything is chosen to hold up to sun and salt air, so the space ages well rather than wears down.

The result: a terrace that works as hard as any room in the house.

The right furnishings turn a garden from something beautiful to look at into somewhere you actually live. From choosing the right fabric and parasols to producing original cushions and built-in sofas, we shape every outdoor detail ourselves, working with a select group of providers whose craftsmanship we trust.

Every piece is chosen and tested against the design and the landscape around it, so it belongs there.

We begin with a visit to the site and a real conversation, not a form to fill out, time spent understanding how you live, what you're hoping for, and what the garden already has to offer.

Afterwards, we send a written brief: the fee structure, how the process will run, and a summary of what we've understood about your goals for the space.

Next, we survey the site properly, its levels, its utilities, the shape of the land itself,and start sketching.

Concept designs come together in 2D , alongside moodboards that capture the feeling we're aiming for. At this stage we're working out the layout, not yet the details

Once you're happy with the concept, we develop it into a full masterplan: layouts, materials, spatial arrangement, and the general character of the planting, so you get a real sense of what the finished garden will feel like to stand in.

With the masterplan approved, we move into the technical drawings, setting-out plans, lighting positions, elevations, pergolas, barbecues, levels and cross sections, and anything needed to be estimated and produced. This is where the design becomes buildable.

The planting plan sets out exactly what goes where, a full schedule of species, sizes, and quantities for ordering and costing, plus a moodboard so you can see the look we're building toward. We leave you with a maintenance schedule too, so the garden keeps looking the way it was designed to be.

This is where we take the build on ourselves. Our own team carries the work through, from the masterplan down to the last technical detail, and we stay on site throughout, resolving anything that comes up as the garden takes shape. Once construction is finished, we set out the plants and hand over a garden that's ready to live in.
